UVA alum John Brenkus will talk about the science of sport, drawing upon his vast experience as the creator, executive producer, and host of the Emmy Award-winning show “Sport Science” on ESPN. He will also discuss his recent book "The Perfection Point," which debuted at #1 on BarnesAndNoble.com when it was released on September 1. On “Sport Science,” Brenkus has the top athletes on the planet into his state-of-the-art laboratory to uncover sports’ biggest myths and mysteries by using cutting-edge technology to measure momentum, friction and the laws of gravity (Sport Science website).
