"CP Violation at BaBar -- current status and future prospects"Ted Liu , Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory [Host: Brad Cox]
ABSTRACT:
In this talk I first present a brief overview
of mixing and CP violation in the charm and beauty
sectors. Then, I will present a status report from the
BaBar experiment at the Stanford Linear Accelerator
Center which has been designed especially to measure
time-dependent asymmetries in the B meson decays whose interpretation
in the Standard Model is directly related to the
parameters of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa
mixing matrix. At the end, I will comment on the
future prospects.
