"A High Statistics Search for the Theta-plus Pentaquark"Mike Longo , University of Michigan [Host: Craig Dukes]
ABSTRACT:
There have been many reported sightings of exotic strange five-quark baryons in the past two years. Using the HyperCP dataset, which includes the largest K-short sample ever taken, we have searched for Theta-plus(1.54) -> K-zero + proton
decays, with a spectrometer with excellent mass resolution.
