"Photoproduction of dark particles"
ABSTRACT:

We propose a novel way to search for the axion-like pseudo-scalar (a), the dark photon (A'), the dark scalar (S ), and the light-dark matter (LDM ) in the Compton process, photon + electron -> a/A'/S + electron with a/A'/S decaying  into leptons, photons, or LDM 's (when permitted). We will review how past, current, and future experiments (beam-dump, fixed target, and colliders) can use this new production mechanism of dark particles. We will discuss the expected sensitivities of these experiments on the axion-like pseudo-scalar coupling to electron, the kinetic mixing between the dark photon and the photon, and the dark scalar coupling to the electron.
